Jamie Dornan, born as James Peter Maxwell Dornan on May 1, 1982, is a multi-talented actor, model, and musician from Northern Ireland. He has received numerous accolades, including two Irish Film and Television Awards, and has been nominated for both a BAFTA Television Award and Golden Globe Award. His journey into the world of glamour and fame began in 2001 as a model. He became part of major campaigns for Hugo Boss, Dior Homme, and Calvin Klein, earning him the title 'the Golden Torso' by The New York Times. Vogue ranked him as one of the '25 Biggest Male Models of All Time' in 2015. Apart from modeling, he performed in the folk band, Sons of Jim, until 2008.

Dornan ventured into acting in 2006 debuting in Sofia Coppola's drama film Marie Antoinette. Later, he played various minor roles in independent films and TV shows including Sheriff Graham Humbert in 'Once Upon a Time' (2011–2013). He received critical acclaim for his portrayal of serial killer Paul Spector in the crime drama series 'The Fall' (2013–2016), earning him a BAFTA nomination. He escalated to fame with roles in the Fifty Shades franchise (2015–2018), Anthropoid (2016), Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar (2021), and Belfast (2021), among others. His role in Belfast earned him a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actor – Motion Picture. From 2022 to 2024, he played the lead role of Elliot Stanley/Eugene Cassidy in the thriller drama series 'The Tourist'.
