Josh Gad

Born on February 23, 1981, **Joshua Ilan Gad**, widely known as **Josh Gad**, is an American actor celebrated for both his voice and stage contributions. He famously lent his voice to Olaf in the hit Disney franchise *Frozen*, winning him two Annie Awards. His performance as Elder Arnold Cunningham in the Broadway spectacle *The Book of Mormon* earned him critical acclaim — a Tony Award nomination for Best Actor in a Musical and a Grammy for Best Musical Theater Album. Gad was born and raised in Hollywood, Florida, and has a strong Jewish heritage. His acting journey launched after he graduated from Carnegie Mellon College of Fine Arts in 2003 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in drama, performing alongside fellow Broadway stars like Leslie Odom Jr. and Rory O'Malley. Gad's career journey took flight in 2002 when he debuted in the film *Mary and Joe*. Over the years, Gad has starred in various productions, including the Fox sitcom *Back to You*, *The Book of Mormon* on Broadway, and the NBC sitcom *1600 Penn*, which he also notably co-created and produced.
