Josie Walker

Josie Walker, born in 1970, is a distinguished actress and singer who started her career in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and later grew up in England. She is well-recognized for her active participation in several renowned Musicals and Theatre productions, leaving an indelible mark in the entertainment industry. Walker's start was with 'The Phantom of the Opera' held in Manchester in 1992, before progressing to the London stage in 1996. Her touring commitments also took her on an English tour for the celebrated 'Cats' in 1995, and a New Zealand tour for 'Evita' in 2004. She notably garnered critical acclaim for her performances in 'The Beautiful Game' (London, 2000) and 'Everybody's Talking About Jamie' (London, 2017), earning her nominations for the Laurence Olivier Award for the Best Actress in a Musical for both performances. Walker is also celebrated for her role in 'Matilda the Musical' (Stratford, 2010; London, 2011).
