Justin Fletcher

Justin Fletcher MBE (born 15 June 1970) is a renowned English children's television presenter, actor, and comedian who primarily features on the BBC pre-school television channel CBeebies. Fletcher's specialty is in the slapstick comedy genre and he works extensively with children who have special educational needs through his show, 'Something Special'. Born in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire, Fletcher is the son of songwriter Guy Fletcher and has three sisters and one brother. Interestingly, his cousin happens to be a musician. Fletcher kick-started his career while studying drama at the Guildford School of Acting. Inspired by Phillip Schofield, another mogul in children's television, Fletcher decided to pursue a career in the same line. Upon creating a reel that encompassed two different comedic characters, he stepped into the world of children's television with 'Fun Song Factory'. Following this, he was part of the 'Tikkabilla' programme which led to the creation of 'Higgledy House', a slapstick comedy. Alongside being a part of the entertainment industry, Fletcher lent his voice to characters in numerous shows like 'Tweenies', 'ToddWorld', and 'Shaun the Sheep'. In 2006, he joined CBeebies as a presenter but left the following year.
