Kelly Reilly

Jessica Kelly Siobhán Reilly, professionally known as Kelly Reilly, is an English actress. She made her screen debut in 1995 with the series The Biz, and added several television roles to her career over the years. Some of her notable Television roles include the British crime drama Above Suspicion (2009–2012), the American psychological medical drama Black Box (2014), the American anthology crime drama True Detective (2015), and the historical fantasy drama Britannia (2018). Since 2018, she has carved a significant spot playing Beth Dutton in the Paramount Network neo-Western drama series Yellowstone, alongside Kevin Costner. Reilly's movie career kick-started in 2000 with the English comedy film Maybe Baby. She moved on to take supporting role in Pride & Prejudice (2005), leading role in horror thriller Eden Lake (2008), portrayal of Mary Morstan in Sherlock Holmes (2009) and its 2011 sequel, a leading role in Flight with Denzel Washington (2012), and the thriller 10x10 (2018). Her performance in After Miss Julie at the Donmar Warehouse (2003–2004) earned her a nomination for a Laurence Olivier Award. Besides her acting career, she has made it to Broadway. In 2015, she made her Broadway debut appearing opposite Clive Owen and Eve Best in Harold Pinter's play Old Times. She was brought up in Chessington, London, where she nurtured her initial interests in drama. Reilly's versatility is evident from the plethora of roles she's played on the English stage. In 2002, Reilly starred alongside Audrey Tautou and Romain Duris as Wendy, an English Erasmus student, in the French comedy L'Auberge espagnole. She reprised her role in the sequel Les Poupées russes (2005) and the follow-up Casse-tête chinois (2013). Her stage collaborations with Terry Johnson and Karel Reisz significantly shaped her acting demeanor. Over the years, Reilly felt she was being typecast in comedy roles, and actively sought out varying roles such as that of young Amy in Last Orders.
