Kevin Spacey Fowler KBE, known professionally as Kevin Spacey, is an acclaimed American actor and film producer. Born on July 26, 1959, Spacey has had a versatile career on stage and screen. Starting with smaller roles in Mike Nichols's films, he eventually won two Academy Awards for 'The Usual Suspects' (1995) and 'American Beauty' (1999). He is also known for his performances in 'Glengarry Glen Ross' (1992), 'Se7en' (1995), 'L.A. Confidential' (1997), and 'Baby Driver' (2017), among others. On Broadway, he has starred in 'Long Day's Journey into Night', 'Lost in Yonkers', and 'The Iceman Cometh'. He served as the artistic director of the Old Vic theatre in London from 2004 to 2015, and in 2017, he hosted the 71st Tony Awards. In television, Spacey achieved prominence for his role in the Netflix political drama series 'House of Cards', which won him a Golden Globe Award and two consecutive Screen Actors Guild Awards for Best Actor. However, his career was significantly affected after facing several allegations of sexual misconduct in 2017.
