Lana Condor

Lana Therese Condor (born Trần Đồng Lan; May 11, 1997) is a Vietnamese-born American actress and YouTuber. Born in Vietnam, she was adopted and renamed by American parents in Chicago, Illinois, and has a brother, Arthur, who was adopted from the same orphanage. Condor's initial studies were inclined towards ballet, wherein she trained with several esteemed institutions, eventually expanding her skills into improvisational theatre at the Groundlings. Acting became a serious pursuit as she studied at the New York Film Academy and Yale Summer Conservatory for Actors. After a successful theater scholarship, she decided to postpone her university education at Loyola Marymount University to focus on her acting career.

However, significant recognition arrived when she starred as Lara Jean Covey in the romantic comedy To All the Boys film series (2018–2021). She also showcased her acting diversity with a variety of roles in Deadly Class (2019), Alita: Battle Angel (2019), and many more. In 2023, Condor voiced the titular character in the animated film Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken.
