Heather Laurie Holden, born on December 17, 1969, is an accomplished American-Canadian actress best known for her stunning performances in various television series and movies. She was portrayed as Marita Covarrubias in 'The X-Files (1996–2002)', Andrea Harrisonin 'The Walking Dead (2010–2013, 2020–2022)', and Amanda Dumfries in 'The Mist (2007)'. She has also graced the screen in 'The Majestic', 'Silent Hill', 'The Shield', 'The Americans', 'Vought News Network: Seven on 7 with Cameron Coleman' and 'The Boys'.

Born in Los Angeles and raised in Toronto, she gained her initial acting experience in childhood. Interestingly, she started her career by chance when a child actress failed to show up on the sets of 'The Martian Chronicles'. While she was a teenager, she won the Look of the Year modeling contest in Toronto which helped her gain traction in the industry. She studied economics and political science at McGill University, later transferring to University of California, Los Angeles to pursue theater and film. Her work took a significant turn when she performed in popular TV shows like 'The X-Files', 'The Magnificent Seven', and 'The Highlander'. One of her critically acclaimed performances was opposite Jim Carrey in 'The Majestic', which brought her immense praise. She is also recognized for her human rights activism and efforts against human trafficking.
