Lesley-Anne Down

Lesley-Anne Down, born on 17 March 1954, is a talented British actress, singer, and model. She kickstarted her professional journey with her motion picture debut in the 1969 drama film 'The Smashing Bird I Used to Know'. In the following years, she displayed her versatile acting in films like 'Assault', 'Countess Dracula', and 'Pope Joan'. Popular for portraying Georgina Worsley in the ITV period drama series, 'Upstairs, Downstairs', she etched her name on the global film landscape. Down's fame skyrocketed with her commendable performances in 'The Pink Panther Strikes Again', 'A Little Night Music', 'The First Great Train Robbery', and others. On television, she shone in roles in 'The One and Only Phyllis Dixey', 'The Hunchback of Notre Dame', and 'Murder Is Easy'.
