Lewis Pullman

**Lewis James Pullman** is a prominent American actor who embarked on his acting career in 2017 with the movie The Ballad of Lefty Brown, where he starred along with his father, Bill Pullman. He has had a string of successful roles in films such as The Strangers: Prey at Night, Bad Times at the El Royale, and Top Gun: Maverick, and on television in series like Catch-22, Outer Range, and Lessons in Chemistry. His portrayal of a chemist in Lessons in Chemistry led to nominations for a Primetime Emmy Award and a Critics' Choice Television Award. Lewis was born to Bill Pullman, an esteemed actor, and Tamara Hurwitz, a modern dancer. He has a brother, Jack, a puppet-maker, and a singer-songwriter sister, Maesa. After graduating from Warren Wilson College in 2015, Pullman also demonstrated his musician side as a drummer with the band Atta Boy. Aside from his acting career, he started with several short films including The Tutor in 2013. His big break came in 2015 when Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris invited him to audition for Highston, a television series from Sacha Baron Cohen and Amazon Studios. Lewis' career soared, earning him prominent roles in films like his debut The Ballad of Lefty Brown, alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger in Aftermath, in the British drama Lean on Pete, and in the critically acclaimed Battle of the Sexes. His role in Salem's Lot (2024) has been lauded as well. He is set to star in the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Thunderbolts, scheduled for release in 2025.
