**Lex Scott Davis**, born Alexis Scott Davis on February 26, 1991, is a popular American actress. She is known for playing standout roles such as Nya in _The First Purge_ and Toni Braxton in the 2016 Lifetime television film _Toni Braxton: Unbreak My Heart_. Furthering her career in 2017, she had a starring role in the short-lived CBS drama series _Training Day_ and played Quiara in _The L Word: Generation Q_. Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Davis was born to a life coach mother and a real estate firm owner father. With aspirations in the arts, she attended Drexel University as a Dance and Physical Therapy major. In 2013, she took a significant step by moving to New York City, continuing her studies at the reputable New York Film Academy. 2015 marked a significant year in her career, when Davis was cast as Toni Braxton in the Lifetime television movie.
