Louis George Ashbourne Serkis, known as Louis Ashbourne Serkis, was born on 19 June 2004. He is a prominent English actor, best remembered for his portrayal of Alex in the 2019 fantasy adventure film, The Kid Who Would Be King. Born into an artistic family, Ashbourne Serkis is the youngest son of acclaimed actor and director Andy Serkis and actress Lorraine Ashbourne. He grew up in Haringey of North London alongside his older sister, Ruby, and an older brother. His earliest education involves attending Highgate School. Ashbourne Serkis embarked on his acting journey through television. He made his debut on the big screen portraying Young Hatter in Alice Through the Looking Glass, which was released in May 2016. In July 2017, he lent his voice to the character Peter in the English version of Mary and the Witch's Flower. The same year, he also made an appearance in The Current War. In November 2018, Ashbourne Serkis voiced the wolf cub Bhoot in Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle, a film that was directed by and co-starred his father. His 2019 performance as Alex in The Kid Who Would Be King greatly elevated his stardom.
