Luke Aaron Benward (born May 12, 1995) is a successful American actor and singer, well-known for his diverse roles across a variety of popular films and television shows. Born in Franklin, Tennessee, Benward's first taste of the entertainment industry came in 2002 when he played David Moore in the film 'We Were Soldiers.' His fame grew considerably in 2006 following his role as Billy Forrester in 'How to Eat Fried Worms,' a performance that earned him a Young Artist Award for Best Young Ensemble in a Feature Film. In addition to this, he scored the role of 14-year-old Charlie Tuttle in the Disney Channel movie 'Minutemen,' and Alan in 'Dear John.'

Benward continued to make a name for himself in the entertainment industry, starring in a number of Disney productions. These include his role as Will in Disney film 'Cloud 9' in 2014, Teddy's boyfriend Beau in the final season of the series 'Good Luck Charlie,' and 'Cloud 9' alongside Dove Cameron. His talent also extends to his music career in which he released a 5-song EP, 'Let Your Love Out,' in 2009. His other significant roles include Dillon in 'Ravenswood' and Bo in the Netflix film 'Dumplin.' Benward also showcased his skills in various commercials, including partnerships with Nintendo, McDonald's, Willy Wonka, American Express, and Hamburger Helper.
