Marc Maron

Marc David Maron is an American stand-up comedian, podcaster, writer, actor, and musician. In the 1990s and 2000s, Maron was a frequent guest on the Late Show with David Letterman and appeared over forty times on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, more than any other stand-up comedian. He hosted Comedy Central's Short Attention Span Theater from 1993 to 1994, replacing Jon Stewart. From 2004 to 2009, he was part of the left-wing radio network Air America, hosting The Marc Maron Show. In his early life, Maron lived in Wayne, New Jersey for the first six years of his life. He then moved to Alaska during his father's orthopedic surgeon medical residency before finally settling in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Marc started his professional comedy career at The Comedy Store in Los Angeles, later moving to New York City. Throughout his career, he's hosted several shows and featured in series like Maron and GLOW. As well as acting, he provided the voice for the 2022 DreamWorks Animation film, The Bad Guys.
