Lanter's personal life is also fulfilling. He married his longtime girlfriend, Angela Stacy, in June 2013 and they share a daughter born in 2017. Outside of acting, Lanter is heavily involved in sports, having been a batboy for the Atlanta Braves for two seasons. He also holds a degree in business from the University of Georgia.
