**Michael Stuhlbarg** is a renowned American actor, highly respected for his character roles in films, television, and theatre. His rich career encompassing many awards, including nominations for two Primetime Emmy Awards, two Tony Awards, and a Golden Globe Award. Born on July 5, 1968, and raised in Long Beach, California, Stuhlbarg refined his acting craft at esteemed institutions such as The Juilliard School and the University of California. In 2009, he garnered prominence for his portrayal of troubled university professor Larry Gopnik in the dark comedy film *A Serious Man*.
