**Miranda Jane Richardson**, born on March 3, 1958, is a renowned English actress who has exhibited her acting prowess in film, television, and theatre. Her career was launched in 1979, following her graduation from the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. She quickly gained notability with her West End debut in the 1981 play, *Moving*, which paved the way for her nomination for the 1987 Olivier Award for Best Actress for her performance in *A Lie of the Mind*. Richardson's illustrious career features nominations for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for '*Damage*' and the Academy Award for Best Actress for '*Tom & Viv*'.
