Myra Lucretia Taylor, born on July 9, 1960, is an eminent American actress and singer who has made significant contributions to the entertainment industry. Taylor was born in Fort Motte, South Carolina and has had an active career in acting since 1988. She made her Broadway debut in the 1988 production of A Streetcar Named Desire, marking the commencement of her distinguished career. Her acting excellence subsequently led her to the big screens, making her film debut the same year in the comedy film Crossing Delancey.
