Nelson Franklin (born July 2, 1985) is a distinguished American actor, best known for his wide range of television roles. These roles span across numerous popular shows, including The Millers, Traffic Light, The Office, New Girl, Black-ish, and Veep. Franklin, born to Howard Franklin, a seasoned screenwriter and director, and the stepson of DJ Anne Litt, found himself enveloped in the world of entertainment from a very early age.

After completing high school at Campbell Hall School in Studio City, California, Franklin pursued higher education at the prestigious New York University Tisch School of the Arts, grounding his acting skills. He began his acting career in 2005, with his first major role as Nick, the I.T. worker on NBC's The Office. He later became a series regular on the short-lived FOX comedy series Traffic Light.
