Neve Adrianne Campbell is a respected Canadian actress, born on October 3, 1973, in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. She started her acting career in the Canadian and American television industry, later gaining recognition as a scream queen because of her numerous starring roles in horror and thriller films. Businesses and independents have likewise benefitted from her appearances. Her pivotal roles include the drama series Catwalk (1992–1993), the television film The Canterville Ghost (1996), and going on to play Julia Salinger in the Party of Five (1994–2000), which was her breakthrough role. Campbell rose to global prominence for her lead role as Sidney Prescott in Wes Craven's slasher film Scream (1996), which led to the Scream franchise, where she reprised her role in all of the movies except the sixth. After taking a break, she made her come back on TV with her performance in the drama series Medium (2007), and starred in the action series The Philanthropist (2009), the miniseries Titanic: Blood and Steel (2012), the political thriller series House of Cards (2016–2017), and the crime drama series The Lincoln Lawyer (2022–present).
