Riccardo Dario Scamarcio (born 13 November 1979) is a remarkable Italian actor and film producer with a pronounced influence on contemporary Italian Cinema. Scamarcio was born in Trani, Apulia, into an artistic household headed by Irene Petrafesa, a painter, and Emilio Scamarcio. He pursued his passion for acting at the Scuola Nazionale di Cinema in Rome, where he now resides. His acting journey began in 2000 with a TV series and soon escalated with his lead role in the 2004 film 'Three Steps Over Heaven', directed by Luca Lucini.
