Rizwan Manji

Rizwan Manji, born October 17, 1974, is a prolific Canadian actor. He has earned significant acclaim for his diverse portrayals in numerous television shows. His most notable roles include Ray Butani on _Schitt's Creek_, Tick Pickwick on _The Magicians_, Rajiv Gidwani on the NBC sitcom _Outsourced_, and Jamil in the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) television series _Peacemaker (2022–present)_. Born in Toronto, Ontario, to Indian parents who emigrated from Tanzania, Manji is Ismaili-Muslim of Gujarati Indian descent and cherishes his religion's importance. His early life was spent in Calgary, Alberta following a move when he was in grade one. He is a graduate of both Crescent Heights High School and the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City. Despite parental expectations to attend university, Manji followed his passion for drama and acting. He has boldly explored his craft through various films and recurring television roles, including _Privileged_, _Better Off Ted_, and _24_.
