RJ Mitte

**Roy Frank 'RJ' Mitte III**, better known as **RJ Mitte**, is a prominent American actor and producer, famed for his notable work in the AMC crime drama series _Breaking Bad_ where he portrayed Walter White Jr. (2008–2013). Born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi, his life took a dramatic turn when he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at the tender age of three. Boldly embracing his condition, Mitte moved to Hollywood in 2006 where he passionately sought acting opportunities where his disability could enlighten viewers, creating more awareness and education about cerebral palsy. His entrance into the acting world started with humble cameos in various sitcoms before he rapidly ascended to stardom through his breakthrough role in _Breaking Bad_. RJ Mitte's career has only further blossomed since then, with remarkable appearances in the ABC family drama series _Switched at Birth_ (2014), Netflix's animated series _The Guardians of Justice_ (2022), and films like _Time Share_ (2018), _Standing Up for Sunny_ (2019), _The Oak Room_ (2020) and _Triumph_ (2021), the last of which he proudly executive produced. Beyond acting, RJ Mitte is a fierce advocate for people living with cerebral palsy and other disabilities. He plays a vital role as a Screen Actors Guild spokesman for actors with disabilities and actively serves as a celebrity ambassador for United Cerebral Palsy. His passion and stellar work in this space saw him honored with the SAG-AFTRA Harold Russell Award in 2013.
