Robert Kenneth Wilfort, born 20th April 1977, is a seasoned Welsh actor hailing from Porthcawl. He has lit up British television and cinema with numerous memorable performances. Robert is highly recognized for his role as Jason West in the well-loved series, Gavin & Stacey. His versatility is further proven by appearances in popular series such as Wolf Hall and Bridgerton. Robert's talent extends to film; viewers will remember him as Dr Simon Griffith in Mike Leigh's All or Nothing (2002) and as Rita Skeeter's photographer in the hit Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005). His filmography also includes The Libertine (2004) and a notable role in Man Up (2015). Robert played the history teacher Tom Barkley in the E4 teen drama series Skins and Mr Fisher in BBC's White Van Man. From 2015, Robert has charmed audiences as the voice of Samson (UK/US) in the CGI series of Thomas & Friends. Meanwhile, he successfully carved roles in BBC's adaptations of Hilary Mantel's Wolf Hall, and Dickensian as Bob Cratchit. Switching gears in 2018, he impressively portrayed Lord Liverpool in Mike Leigh's Peterloo. His recent portrayal of Spike Milligan in the touring production of SPIKE (2022) and appearing in BBC's Doctors as Ross Hutchinson shows his sustained commitment and credibility in the acting industry.
