Rose McIver

Frances Rose McIver, better known as Rose McIver, is a celebrated New Zealand actress renowned for her numerous on-screen contributions in both the film and television industries. She has brought to life striking characters such as Samantha Arondekar in the series 'Ghosts' (since 2021), Olivia 'Liv' Moore in the supernatural comedy-drama series 'iZombie' (2015–2019), and Summer Landsdown the Yellow Ranger in 'Power Rangers RPM' (2009). Notably, she also starred as Amber Moore in the popular Netflix romantic comedy film 'A Christmas Prince' (2017) and its subsequent sequels. In the early days of her career, McIver made guest appearances in New Zealand–based series such as 'Xena: Warrior Princess', 'Hercules: The Legendary Journeys', and 'Legend of the Seeker'. She later transitioned to other engaging roles in series such as 'Masters of Sex' (2013–14) and 'Once Upon a Time' (2013–2017). Her film debut was in the period drama 'The Piano' (1993), and her filmography has since expanded to include a wide variety of genres. Outside of her acting career, McIver is known for her work as an ambassador for Emirates airlines, her passion for writing, and her love for puzzles. Rose McIver married Australian artist George Byrne in 2023, with whom she has one daughter.
