**Ryan Hansen** (born July 5, 1981) is a renowned American actor notable for his various roles across television and film. His journey began with guest-starring roles in series like 'Grounded for Life', 'That's So Raven', and 'Las Vegas'. Though he initially auditioned for the role of Duncan Kane on Veronica Mars and narrowly lost, he was later recommended for the role of Dick Casablancas which saw him rise to prominence. The period between 2004–2007 and a revival in 2019 cemented him as an identifiable figure in the noir drama scene. His work wasn’t confined to just drama as he displayed his range in the Starz comedy series 'Party Down' (2009–2010, 2023) and as Nolan in the famed horror remake, 'Friday the 13th' (2009). Hansen garnished his career with a recurring role in the comedy series '2 Broke Girls' (2012–2017) and the web series 'Burning Love' (2012–2013). In 2011, he portrayed Ben Lewis on the NBC sitcom 'Friends with Benefits' and was ranked #79 on BuddyTV's list of "TV's Sexiest Men of 2011". In 2012, he played the recurring role of Andy, a candy shop owner, in the CBS sitcom '2 Broke Girls' and had a supporting role in the film 'Hit and Run'. Following this, he starred in the YouTube Premium series Ryan Hansen 'Solves Crimes on Television' launched on October 25, 2017, where he plays a fictional version of himself. In 2020, he performed alongside Jimmy O. Yang in two films, 'Like a Boss' and 'Fantasy Island'. Off the screens, Hansen is married to Amy Russell and they are blessed with three daughters. He is also socially active, supporting Invisible Children which was founded by his brother-in-law Jason Russell.
