Seán Cullen

Seán Cullen, born on 29th August 1965, is a versatile Canadian actor and stand-up comedian known for his distinct combination of improvisation, mimicry, and music. He gained public recognition in 1987 as a part of the musical comedy group Corky and the Juice Pigs, touring worldwide and gracing stages at the Edinburgh Fringe & Just for Laughs. They were featured on Fox's MADtv and produced two comedy albums before they split in 1998. Cullen then embarked on a solo career, populating his acts with music and writing his own one-man show, which garnered a Gemini Award nomination. He has also starred in the sketch comedy show in England, Unnatural Acts.

Cullen's television footprint is extensive, featuring on Canadian and American TV shows. His notable voice work includes characters in Seven Little Monsters, Jimmy Two-Shoes, Rocket Monkeys, and Almost Naked Animals. In 2003, he produced his sitcom, The Seán Cullen Show and hosted the 17th and 18th Annual Gemini Awards Galas. From 2011-2020, he hosted the podcast The Seánpod. In addition to this, he has been a frequent panelist on the Canadian version of Match Game and on The Debaters on CBC Radio. Seán also explored writing, producing a series of novels for young adults. Despite his many laurels, Cullen continues to contribute significantly to the world of comedy and entertainment.
