Shinichirô Miki

Shin-ichiro Miki (三木眞一郎, Miki Shin'ichirō, born March 18, 1968) is a distinguished Japanese voice actor from Tokyo, Japan. As a member of the voice acting agency '81 Produce', he has been a key figure in the industry since 1989. Miki is celebrated for his perceptibly smooth voice and often tranquil rendition in the roles he takes on, frequently undertaking the parts of handsome young men in anime. The characters Youji Kudou – Balinese (Weiß Kreuz) and Kojirō ('James') (Pokémon) are some of his most notable roles.

In addition to voice acting, Miki is also recognized as a singer. He is part of the four-man band Weiß, along with his co-stars of Weiß Kreuz, Takehito Koyasu, Tomokazu Seki, and Hiro Yūki. His versatility also extends to BL dramas, for which he gained the Best Actor in supporting roles in the 4th Seiyu Awards. In Pokémon, he has graced not only the Japanese version but the English one too, lending his voice to iconic characters such as Misty's Staryu, Brock's Zubat/Golbat/Crobat, and Ash's Charizard.
