Sinqua Walls (born April 6, 1985) is an American actor known for his versatility in multiple roles in both television and film. Originally from Louisiana, Sinqua moved to Marina del Rey, California, with his family, developing an early interest in acting after watching the movie Radio Flyer. He attended El Segundo High School and later graduated from the University of San Francisco in 2007, where he studied theatre and film. Sinqua was also a part of the University's men's basketball team, the San Francisco Dons, demonstrating his athleticism alongside his artistic pursuits.
Starting his acting career in 2007, Sinqua has played numerous varied roles, increasing his profile significantly over time. He's most known for his roles in popular shows like Friday Night Lights, The Secret Life of the American Teenager, American Soul, and White Men Can't Jump. In cinema, he starred in the 2011 horror feature Shark Night 3D and also featured in Clint Eastwood's biopic The 15:17 to Paris. Since 2019, Walls has also taken on the role of Don Cornelius in BET's American Soul, a fictionalized drama series.
