Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., known by his stage name Snoop Dogg, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, record producer, media personality, and actor. He first gained fame in 1992 after his guest appearance on Dr. Dre's debut solo single, "Deep Cover", and later on Dre's album, The Chronic in the same year. Over his career, Broadus has sold over 23 million albums in the United States, and 35 million albums worldwide. His discography includes albums such as Doggystyle (1993), The Doggfather (1996), and multiple collaborations and features with other artists. Broadus has received numerous awards and nominations including an American Music Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, and 17 Grammy Award nominations. Apart from music, Broadus ventured into entrepreneurship and various business pursuits. For instance, he founded Doggy Style Records, was the owner of Death Row Records, and served as an executive creative consultant at Def Jam Recordings. Additionally, Broadus has also acted in several films and hosted television shows throughout his career.
