**Talia Ryder** (born August 16, 2002) is a notable American stage and film actress who made her debut as Skylar in the critically acclaimed independent drama film _Never Rarely Sometimes Always (2020)_. This breakout role resulted in nominations for an Independent Spirit Award and Critics' Choice Movie Award. Her career continued to flourish with leading roles in the Netflix romance drama _Hello, Goodbye, and Everything in Between (2022)_, the surrealist comedy _The Sweet East (2023)_, and supporting roles in acclaimed productions such as _West Side Story (2021)_, _Do Revenge (2022)_, and _Dumb Money (2023)_. Ryder began her acting career on stage, where she acted in the Broadway musical Matilda the Musical (2015–2016) and the Off-Broadway play _How to Defend Yourself (2023)_. Ryder's younger sister, Mimi, also has a career as a musical actress with a title role in Matilda the Musical. At just 12 years old, Ryder was inspired by a Broadway performance of _Matilda the Musical_, which eventually led her to be cast in the play, marking the launch of her professional acting career. Ryder has spoken about her extensive background in dance, which she has adapted to her stage acting.
