Teiji Takahashi (高橋 貞二, born on 20th of October, 1926) was an eminent Japanese film actor known for his performances in more than twenty films in the brief span of his acting career from 1950 to 1959. Amidst his short-lived trajectory, he was tragically killed in a traffic accident on the 3rd of November, 1959. Born and raised in Tokyo, Takahashi was a product of the Japanese Film School (Nihon Eiga Gakkō). His journey into the world of the celluloid began when he joined the Shochiku studio in 1945. It wasn't long before he emerged as one of the company's top young male stars, sharing this honor with renowned actors like Keiji Sada and Kōji Tsuruta. Despite his untimely demise, the impact he made on the industry within a few years is remembered and stands as a testament to his talent.
