Titus B. Welliver, born March 12, 1962, is a renowned American actor known for his prolific acting career. His roles include portrayals of the Man in Black in Lost, Silas Adams in Deadwood, Jimmy O'Phelan in Sons of Anarchy, and the title role in the television series Bosch and Bosch: Legacy. He also collated extensively with Ben Affleck, starring in his films such as Gone Baby Gone (2007), The Town (2010), Argo (2012), and Live by Night (2016). Welliver was born to father Neil Welliver, a well-known American landscape painter, and mother Norma Cripps, a fashion illustrator. He got his roots in acting by studying drama at New York University in the early 1980s, marking the beginning of his film and television career. His diverse filmography includes The Doors (1991), Mobsters (1991), Mulholland Falls (1996), Rough Riders (1997), Once in the Life (2000) and several others. He frequently collaborated with Director Ben Affleck in his first four films. Welliver was also cast in director Michael Bay's film Transformers: Age of Extinction in 2014. His ardent deposit to the television world had him in recurring roles in NYPD Blue, CBS police drama Brooklyn South, HBO series Deadwood among others. He played a lasting character in Sons of Anarchy, The Good Wife, and The Last Ship. His recent role is in the TV series Bosch based on the novels of the same name by Michael Connelly. He also had a cameo appearance in the Disney+ series, The Mandalorian.
