Tomasz Ziętek, born on June 28, 1989, in Inowrocław, is a well-recognized Polish film and theatre actor, musician, and gifted guitarist. He gained his education from the Bolesław III Wrymouth High School No. 1 in Słupsk, and later pursued further studies at the Danuta Baduszkowa National Vocal and Drama School in Gdynia. A pivotal moment in his early career came in 2007 when he won the Grand Prix at the 'Niemen Non Stop' Festival of Young Talents in Słupsk, Poland. His theatrical debut came in 2005, performing in 'Polish Bethlehem,' a play produced at the New Theatre in Słupsk. He notched his first significant film role in 2011, playing the character of Zbigniew Godlewski in Antoni Krauze's drama film 'Black Thursday', which graphically illustrates the harrowing events of the Polish protests of 1970. Some of his exceptional roles include his performances in Robert Gliński's 2014 war drama 'Stones for the Rampart' and 'Ronaldo' in Marcin Wrona's 2015 horror film 'Demon'. For his roles in 'Silent Night' (2017) and Jan Komasa's 2019 Academy-Award-nominated 'Corpus Christi', he received nominations for the Polish Film Award for Best Supporting Actor. Adding to his repertoire in 2019, he starred in the BBC war drama TV series 'World on Fire' penned by Peter Bowker. Ziętek also has a notable presence in the music world as the vocalist and guitarist of the Tricity-based music band The Fruitcakes, and has also released a solo music project titled 'The Ape Man Tales'.
