Zlatko Buric

**Zlatko Burić** (born 13 May 1953) is a talented Danish-Croatian actor, widely recognized for his impactful performances in the Pusher film trilogy (1996–2005), and films like 2012 (2009) and Triangle of Sadness (2022). His brilliant acting skills led him to win various awards including a European Film Award and a Guldbagge Award. Burić was born in Osijek, where he started his acting journey at the Dramski Studio in 1972. He was a key member of the experimental theater group Kugla Glumište in the 1970s and early 1980s, working alongside Željko Zorica-Šiš and Damir Bartol-Indoš. In 1981, Burić relocated to Denmark, where he lived with his then wife, Sonja Hindkjær, with whom he has three children. After their separation, he married Dragana Milutinović, on 7 October 1998. Throughout the 1990s and 2000s, he predominantly worked in Danish films, often collaboratively with director Nicolas Winding Refn. His performances in films like Bleeder and Milo in The Pusher Trilogy are particularly noteworthy, earning him a Bodil Award for Best Supporting Actor in 1997. In addition, in 2009, Burić rose to international fame through a major supporting role in the apocalyptic film 2012, as Yuri Karpov, a Russian billionaire. He reprised his role as Milo in the British remake of Pusher in 2012, further establishing his prominence in the film industry.
