2000 Toronto International Film Festival Awards

The 2000 Toronto International Film Festival, the 25th annual event, ran from September 7 to September 16, 2000, and screened a total of 330 films along with special events, including a screening of Eisenstein's Alexander Nevsky with live musical accompaniment. In addition, 25 digital video shorts were created by attending filmmakers. The awards recognized excellence across various categories such as People's Choice, Discovery, and multiple Canadian film distinctions.
