David Fincher

David Andrew Leo Fincher (born August 28, 1962) is a highly respected American film director. His precision, style, and knack for psychological thrillers have left an indelible mark on contemporary cinema. Fincher's films, many of which are psychological thrillers, have collectively grossed over $2.1 billion worldwide and have been hailed with numerous accolades, including three nominations for the Academy Awards for Best Director. He has also earned four Primetime Emmy Awards, two Grammy Awards, a BAFTA Award, and a Golden Globe Award. He made his big break with Seven in 1995 and has since directed critically acclaimed movies like Fight Club, Zodiac, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Gone Girl, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
