Nicole Garcia

Nicole Garcia, born on 22 April 1946, is a renowned French actress, accomplished film director, and talented screenwriter. Her journey in the film industry began in the year 1967 and has continued till the present day. She came into the limelight with her film 'Charlie Says' which was not only appreciated by the audience but also earned an entry into the 2006 Cannes Film Festival. Apart from this, Nicole's film 'Going Away' was selected to be screened in the Special Presentation section of the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival. These achievements very well depict her skills, passion, and dedication towards her filmmaking career. Besides being a prominent figure in the film industry, Nicole Garcia also honed her skills at the Cannes Film Festival by serving as the president of the jury for the Caméra d'Or section in 2014. Despite her demanding career, Nicole Garcia also has a fulfilling personal life. She has two sons, Frédéric Bélier-Garcia and Pierre Rochefort, with the former being a theatre director and writer, and the latter acting, following his mother's and father's path.
