Todd Strauss-Schulson

**Todd Strauss-Schulson**, an American film director, screenwriter, producer, editor, and cinematographer, was born on June 24, 1980, and made his fame by directing several notable films including the comedy film A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas (2011), the horror-comedy film The Final Girls (2015), and the romantic comedy film Isn't It Romantic (2019). He also proved his skill in the television industry by directing the television series The Inbetweeners (2012) and Zach Stone Is Gonna Be Famous (2013). Todd was born in Forest Hills, Queens, New York City and is Jewish. He has a younger sister named Caren. Todd attended Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts and graduated in 2003 before moving to Los Angeles. His career began with short films and then took off when he embarked on music videos. In the years following his graduation, Todd spent time in China and Thailand directing the third season of MTV Whatever Things (2005), which gained 250 million viewers internationally making it the most popular show on MTV Asia. He also directed commercials and videos for big companies such as Pepsi, Lipton, Mountain Dew, Twix, The Early November, Nestlé, Microsoft, Old Spice, and Sierra Mist. Following his success on the small screen, Strauss-Schulson ventured into feature films. His debut, A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas earned positive reviews from film critics. His following films, The Final Girls, and Isn't It Romantic both also received favourable reviews. Todd is known for his impeccable sense of humor that is evident in all his comedy films, which marks his unique in the world of film directing.
