Beyond Borders 2003

BEYOND BORDERS explores the complicated romance between the busy American socialite Sarah Jordan and the adventurous doctor Nick Callahan. Their paths first cross in 1984 during a charity gala in London, where Sarah, still riding the high of her recent nuptials, finds herself captivated by Nick’s impassioned appeal concerning the plight of starving children in Ethiopia. Motivated by his words, Sarah commits to helping the cause in Africa, leading her back to Nick, where a romantic spark ignites. However, their connection is abruptly interrupted by the demands of family and professional responsibilities.

Fast forward four years, Sarah stands alone following a tumultuous divorce, her focus now predominantly on her role with the United Nations.
