When a coffee date turns into a cleverly disguised prank, Todd finds himself in the unlikeliest of situations - pretending to be part of a same-sex couple with his initially mistaken match. As their ruse gains momentum, Todd's mother becomes an unwitting ally, while friends and acquaintances react with varying degrees of surprise and understanding, leaving Todd questioning whose joke is really on whom.
