Plot Summary

As the curtain rises on this swashbuckling adventure, we are introduced to Deathstalker (Richard Hill), a fearless nomadic warrior/outlaw who wages war against a ruthless treasure hunter who has kidnapped a ravishing maiden. With a band of savage Barbarian warriors hot on his heels, Deathstalker dispatches his foes with ease, ultimately rescuing the damsel in distress from the clutches of her despicable captor. Though his bold nature might suggest a deeper desire for connection, the maiden flees from him, leaving Deathstalker to ponder the complexities of his own heart.

Driven by the mystical guidance of a powerful witch, Deathstalker embarks on a perilous quest to claim three ancient artifacts: a chalice, an amulet, and a sword. The sword, it turns out, is the easiest prize to claim, as the witch has cunningly hidden it within a cave guarded by an ogre and a mischievous imp named Salmaron (who later reveals himself to be a thief cursed by the very same witch). With Salmaron’s assistance, Deathstalker defeats the ogre and lifts the curse from his new ally. As they part ways, Salmaron agrees to join forces with Deathstalker on his journey to claim the remaining relics.

As Deathstalker ventures forth, he encounters Oghris (Richard Brooker), a charming warrior clad in revealing armor, who invites him to participate in an upcoming tournament at Munkar’s castle. The stakes are high: the winner will inherit the sorcerer’s kingdom. One fateful evening en route to the tournament, Deathstalker and Oghris cross paths with Kaira (Lana Clarkson), a stunning female warrior clad only in a G-string and a cloak. As they navigate the treacherous landscape together, the group stumbles upon a mysterious encounter that will forever alter their destinies. In the aftermath of this chance meeting, Deathstalker and Kaira succumb to their primal urges, sharing a passionate night beneath the stars. The next morning, Kaira joins forces with Oghris and Deathstalker, as they press onward toward their shared fate.

As the sinister Munkar (character A) reveals his true intentions, his assistant is privy to the dark lord’s master plan: a gruesome spectacle in which the warriors are pitted against each other in a merciless battle royale, culminating in a weakened survivor that Munkar will brutally eliminate. This Machiavellian maneuver would eradicate all potential threats to his reign of terror.

Upon arrival at Munkar’s foreboding castle, Deathstalker (character A), Oghris, Kaira, and the other contestants converge upon the lavish banquet room the night before the tournament. The warriors are encouraged to indulge in debauched revelry, including a libidinous free-for-all with Munkar’s harem of slaves, featuring the stunning Princess Codille (Barbi Benton). Oghris forms a connection with one of the slave girls, while Kaira keeps Deathstalker at arm’s length. In a brief respite, Deathstalker rescues Princess Codille from her predicament, only for Munkar to reclaim her. The cunning sorcerer then transmutes his assistant into an uncanny likeness of the princess and dispatches him as a deadly assassin. When Deathstalker attempts to take advantage of Codille, he discovers that the woman is not what she seems and sends her away.

In the aftermath of the first day’s bloodshed, Oghris finds himself imprisoned by Munkar’s minions while Salmaron falls victim to a brutal assault from prison guards. The thief is unceremoniously tossed into a well, which ultimately leads him to the harem where he was once held captive. It becomes clear that Oghris has been manipulated by Munkar all along and is now tasked with eliminating his friend Deathstalker. Reluctant to take his friend’s life, Oghris issues a warning to Deathstalker and implores him to abandon the tournament, but the hero refuses to back down. A fierce battle ensues, during which Oghris has the opportunity to strike the fatal blow but instead chooses to fight honorably, ultimately meeting his demise at the hands of Deathstalker.

As the final day of the tournament dawns, only two combatants remain: Deathstalker and a monstrous ogre. After an arduous struggle, Deathstalker emerges victorious, claiming his prize. However, he is quickly beset by Munkar’s minions, who seek to claim the spoils for themselves. Undeterred, Deathstalker perseveres, eventually claiming the third artifact of power and confronting Munkar. By shattering the sorcerer’s illusions, Deathstalker asserts his dominance, rendering the dark lord powerless. With a flourish, he destroys the three objects of power, casting them into oblivion. As a final act of defiance, Deathstalker delivers Munkar to a horde of slaves, who mercilessly exact their revenge upon the vanquished sorcerer.
