Best friends and college students, Sean and Kunle, are on the verge of making history as the first black men to complete the legendary feat known as the “Legendary Tour,” which involves visiting seven fraternity parties in a single night. Their adventurous spirit is complemented by their roommate, Carlos, who hails from a Latino background. However, their night takes a shocking turn when they stumble upon the unconscious body of Emma, an underaged white woman, in their living room.
Faced with the dilemma of involving law enforcement, Sean fears the repercussions posed by racial biases, asserting that their skin color would immediately cast suspicion on them. Kunle suggests that they take Emma to a nearby hospital, which is just 10 minutes away. Meanwhile, Emma’s sister, Maddy, along with her friends Alice and Rafael, frantically searches for her.
In a moment of misguided judgment, the trio considers leaving Emma outside one of the parties. However, as Kunle heads off to keep watch, chaos unfolds when he is chased away and their car suffers damage from thrown objects. Meanwhile, using a tracking app, Maddy manages to pinpoint Emma’s location. In a twist of fate, Carlos inadvertently gives Emma a bottle of alcoholic “Death Punch,” mistaking it for a sports drink.
As the night unfolds, tension mounts when Emma regains consciousness and panics upon realizing she’s in unfamiliar surroundings. In an attempt to escape, she injures Carlos and Kunle, leading to a car crash. The friends locate Emma passed out in a tree and manage to return her to their vehicle, only to be confronted by Maddy, Alice, and Rafael.
In a frenzy, Maddy attacks Sean and Kunle with a branch, accidentally spraying herself with pepper spray in the process. The situation intensifies, but Carlos and Rafael, revealing their familial ties, help to mediate between the groups. When Maddy reveals that Emma’s phone was hidden in her bra, doubts start to dissipate, and the friends are seen in a new light.
As fear overtakes Sean, he decides to abandon the group and heads to the “underground,” the last stop on their legendary adventure. Unfortunately, Emma’s condition worsens, prompting Carlos to drive rapidly toward the hospital. As Kunle performs CPR to save Emma’s life, they are pursued by police, who wrongly assume they have kidnapped her. Just as they reach the emergency room, the police confront the group, with a gun drawn on Kunle, the sole black man in the vehicle.
In the aftermath, Alice manages to explain the situation to authorities, resulting in Kunle and Carlos being released. A white officer advises them to have simply called 911 in the first place. Later, Sean and Kunle find reconciliation in their friendship.
The next morning, Emma and Maddy pay a visit to the boys’ house, bearing a gift basket. Emma expresses her remorse, but Maddy tells her to wait outside. While Maddy attempts to read a handwritten letter of apology addressing the involvement of the police, Kunle abruptly shuts the door in her face. As they engage in a game of Jenga, Sean notices that Kunle is exhibiting signs of post-traumatic stress disorder triggered by the distant sirens, indicating the lasting impact of their harrowing night.
