In the heart of Texas, Kelly Taylor (pours her heart out) as a waitress and singer at a dusty bar, where her charms capture the attention of rugged cowboys like Luke. But she’s desperate to escape the monotony of her job, so when college pals Alexa and Kaya invite her to join them on a spring break escapade in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Kelly jumps at the chance. Little does she know that this trip will be a wild ride filled with music, mayhem, and mistaken identities.

As Kelly arrives in Miami, she rubs shoulders with college student Justin Bell (and his friends Brandon and Eddie), who run a party promoter business called BR&J. The stage is set for a collision course of misunderstandings and misadventures. Kelly’s first encounter with Justin is at a beach concert, where they exchange fleeting glances amidst the thumping beats. Later, Justin and Brandon offer Eddie dating advice before departing, leaving Eddie to search for his online date.

The following night, Justin and Kelly cross paths again at a party, but their chemistry is short-circuited when Kelly tries to hand him her phone number on a napkin only to have it slip through her fingers and fall into a puddle.
