In the scorching desert of Egypt in 1918, a critical mission begins as British General Rupert Graves III (Randy Oglesby) assigns Eleanor Morgan (Victoria Summer), a talented English nurse and translator, to find and rescue Capt. Josef von Zimmerman (Werner Daehn), a notorious German pilot known for his remarkable aerial feats. To brave the harsh expanse of the Sahara Desert together, the skilled yet distracted Morgan is paired with Capt. Jackson Cove (Chris Klein), an American pilot serving with the British Allied forces who has faced grounding due to his severe alcoholism, resulting in an alarming record of nine aircraft crashes.

As these two unlikely partners traverse the perilous landscape, they slowly build an uneasy alliance spurred by their shared goal of retrieving von Zimmermann. Yet, the air is thick with tension, especially for Cove, whose personal vendetta against the German pilot comes to light: von Zimmermann is the very ace who claimed the life of Cove’s younger brother during a dogfight. This complication is heightened when Morgan discovers that von Zimmermann has undergone a significant change, now prepared to provide critical intelligence to the British in exchange for a chance at redemption.

When Morgan and Cove finally locate their target, they find von Zimmermann gravely injured and suffering from amnesia. Faced with the daunting challenge of navigating back to Cairo before time runs out, the trio becomes embroiled in a complex web of deception, survival, and psychological gamesmanship. The dynamic escalates further with the sudden appearance of a German pilot flying a Fokker Dr.1 triplane, leading to an exhilarating showdown that leaves lingering questions and the tantalizing hint of a potential sequel.
