Iron Island 2006

In the Persian Gulf, a decrepit ship has become a makeshift haven for Iranian drifters. Captain Nemat, a paternal figure with a firm hand, keeps the community afloat by mediating love matches and scavenging for scrap metal. But amidst this fragile stability, a restless young outsider, Ahmad, challenges authority to pursue his forbidden crush on the beautiful Neda, whose overbearing father threatens to upend their lives.
