As Rajiv Malhotra (Sachin Khedekar) settles back into his life with his wife Ankita, they welcome the arrival of twin boys. Unbeknownst to Rajiv, a chance encounter on a flight with Charles (an unsuspecting ally in crime) sets off a chain of events that would soon threaten their peaceful existence. As fate would have it, Charles uses Rajiv's innocent nature to smuggle diamonds into Mumbai, and later, as Rajiv is preparing to meet his pregnant wife at the hospital, Charles arrives to congratulate him on the birth of their twin sons.

However, Rajiv's joy is short-lived, as he soon discovers Charles' true intentions. In a bid to evade capture, Charles flees with one of the twins, leaving behind a trail of deceit and confusion. The police are called in, but by the time they arrive, Charles has managed to spin a convincing tale about the twin's demise, claiming it was a victim of a blast.

As Rajiv and Ankita move to London for safety reasons, their other son Prem (Varun Dhawan) grows up unaware of his long-lost twin brother Raja (also Varun Dhawan). The twins' unique bond is rooted in their shared birth experience, which saw them joined at the arms. As they were separated, a prophecy was made that as one becomes weaker, the other would grow stronger.

Prem, now a college student, struggles with feelings of inadequacy, often finding himself at the mercy of bullies. His only solace comes in the form of his friend Samaira (Taapsee Pannu). Meanwhile, Raja's tumultuous past catches up to him as he enlists the help of Pappu Passport (Johnny Lever) to escape to London and start anew. There, he meets Alishka Bakshi (Jacqueline Fernandez), with whom he shares a romantic spark.

As Officer Dhillon (Pavan Malhotra) becomes hot on Raja's trail, Prem's life begins to mirror his twin brother's in unexpected ways. Samaira's mom (Upasana Singh) grows increasingly determined to snare Prem in her web of love, unaware that her daughter is already smitten with someone else.

The lines between reality and mistaken identity begin to blur as Raja's arrival in London sets off a chain reaction of events. Alishka finds herself drawn to Prem, but he recoils from her advances. Officer Dhillon mistakenly targets Prem, convinced that he is the illegal immigrant Raja. As Samaira's heart remains torn between her feelings for Prem and her growing affection for Raja (whom she believes to be Prem), the twins' paths continue to converge in ways both surprising and inevitable.

As fate would have it, Rajiv receives a chilling phone call from Charles, who is on the cusp of freedom after serving time behind bars. Charles seethes with malevolence, vowing to exact revenge on Rajiv and his family. Meanwhile, an unexpected twist arises when Rajiv suffers an accident and is rescued by Raja, whose heroics inadvertently set off a chain reaction of events that will forever alter the course of their lives.

In a bizarre coincidence, Raja crosses paths with Alex, a man who claims to have no recollection of his past - unaware that he is, in fact, Charles's own son. As Raja navigates this peculiar encounter, he unwittingly stumbles upon a deeper web of deceit and betrayal that threatens to destroy everything he holds dear.

Back at the jewelry store, Prem selects a stunning ring for Samaira, only to be interrupted by an unexpected visit from Nandu and Sharafat Bhai. Despite their attempts to make contact, Prem remains oblivious, leaving his acquaintances feeling hurt and confused. It's not long before Raja and Alishka enter the scene, leading to a series of misadventures that culminate in the store owner mistakenly presenting Samaira's ring to an ecstatic Alishka.

As the plot thickens, Balraj reaches out to Rajiv with congratulations on Prem and Alishka's engagement. However, Prem refuses to relinquish the ring to Alishka, prompting Samaira to overhear the conversation and ultimately decide to call off their relationship.

In a stunning revelation, Prem and Raja finally cross paths, leading them to unravel the tangled threads of confusion that have beset their lives. In a desperate bid to win back his lost love, Raja asks Prem to pose as him and rekindle his romance with Samaira. Conversely, Prem requests that Raja step in as himself and salvage his relationship with Alishka.

In the midst of this chaos, Alex regains his memory and reunites with his estranged father, Charles. As he plots his revenge, Alex kidnaps Nandu, forcing Raja to comply with his demands by bringing Prem and Rajiv to him. Sequestered in a cage, Raja is powerless to resist as Alex brutally attacks Prem.

However, Raja's latent Kung Fu skills kick in, allowing him to fend off Alex's assault and ultimately emerge victorious. With their bond stronger than ever, Raja and Prem join forces to rescue Rajiv and eventually tie the knot with their respective partners - a testament to the unbreakable bonds of brotherhood and love.
