Plot Summary

Juliano Cazarré’s portrayal of Iremar brings to life a bull handler with a secret passion for creating bespoke garments that would make women swoon. As part of a traveling troupe that transports bulls from one rodeo to the next, Iremar finds solace in crafting custom horse masks and provocative outfits for Galega (Maeve Jinkings), the group’s driver who moonlights as a sultry performer, captivating crowds with her sensual dances after each rodeo. Their camaraderie is further enriched by their companions: Cacá (Alyne Santana), Galega’s precocious daughter; and Zé (Carlos Pessoa), a lovable but hapless bull wrangler who becomes the group’s resident jokester.

As the story unfolds, the audience is treated to a tapestry of interactions between the troupe members, punctuated by Iremar’s creative pursuits and the thrill of rodeo scenes. However, when Zé’s attempt to pilfer valuable horse semen from a stud auction goes awry, he’s offered a new opportunity as a horse wrangler, paving the way for his replacement, Junior (Vinícius de Oliveira) - a charming, if slightly vain, young man who quickly forms bonds with Cacá and finds himself entwined in a romantic connection with Galega.

Meanwhile, Iremar’s artistic aspirations continue to simmer, waiting to be ignited. During a rodeo, he crosses paths with Geise (played by an actress not mentioned), a pregnant woman working multiple jobs - selling perfume and cologne from a large factory by day, and serving as a nighttime security guard by night. After the rodeo, Geise gifts Iremar a bottle of her finest cologne, paving the way for a nocturnal visit to the factory where she seduces him, and their passion ignites amidst the hum of industrial machinery.
