In the rustic landscapes of New Jersey, a couple's harmonious existence as wild mushroom foragers is disrupted when Regina trades her wicker basket for a chef's hat at a Manhattan eatery. Lucien resists change, advocating a nomadic lifestyle to preserve their free-spirited way of life. As their individual aspirations diverge over the course of a year, their once-strong bond begins to wither.
