In the heart of Nablus on the West Bank, two lifelong friends, Said and Khaled, navigate the emotional turmoil of living under foreign occupation. They endure feelings of oppression and humiliation, perceiving themselves as captives in their own homeland. Their lives take a significant turn when a friend offers them a chance to reclaim their dignity through vengeance. The narrative follows their preparation for an ultimate act of defiance—a suicide mission in Tel Aviv.

The film intricately delves into the perspectives of Said and Khaled as they approach their final day. On this day, the duo readies themselves mentally and physically, adopting the appearance of Jewish settlers while filming their martyr videos and discussing passages from the Koran. However, their path takes a twist when an Israeli patrol splits them apart at the border. As they remain separated, each grapples with the reality of their choices. Khaled, in particular, finds himself plagued by doubts about their mission.

These uncertainties are compounded by the presence of Suha, a contemporary Palestinian woman and the daughter of a revered martyr. Suha harbors feelings for Said but struggles to reach him regarding his resolute stance on their perilous undertaking. Later, after a chance reunion at night, Said and Khaled decide to proceed with their plan despite the reservations voiced by Suha and Khaled. As they make their way to Tel Aviv the following day, Khaled’s inner turmoil mounts, ultimately leading him to consider backing out. In a poignant moment of conflict, it is left to Said to continue alone and fulfill what they had set out to accomplish, bringing the film to a gripping climax.
